How You Can Help The Children of Phuket
There are lots of ways in which you can support The Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund (LWTF), and
effectively help the Thai children in Phuket. For example, you can:

Make a Donation
You can make a donation to our charity account in one of two ways. You can either:
- Send us a cheque (made payable to the "Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund"), and post
it to
our main office in Norwich.

Support an LWTF Fundraising Event
The Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund (LWTF) are pleased to
organise at least one or two major fundraising events per year (or at least on a bi-annual basis). For example, since the charity was formed, we have successfully organised:
- The Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund - Summer Ball - (held at the Royal Norfolk Showground in Norwich)
- The Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund - Golf Day - (held at the Eaton Golf Club in Norwich).
In addition to the above, friends and supporters have organised many
fundraising events themselves, such as "The Louise Willgrass Memorial Tennis Tournament", "Run for Louise",
and a "Night of the Stars" evening at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Many other types of events have also been organised
on our behalf. To find out more, just look down the list in our Thank You section.
In October 2009, the trustees hope to organise another special event; The Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund - Halloween Ball. No details are available at present, but as
soon as they are released we will let you know.

Organise a Fundraising Event of Your Own
The Louise Willgrass Tsunami Fund (LWTF) would be delighted to hear
from you, should you wish to organise a fundraising event of your own choosing. We only have a handful of actively
available trustees, so any extra help would be very much appreciated.

We are always especially pleased to hear from our supporters, and if there is anything that the LWTF can do to help, let us know.

Raise Public Awareness About the LWTF
One of the most simple but effective things you can do to help, (apart from sending us a donation), is to tell your friends, neighbours or work colleagues about our charity.
The other thing you could do to help raise public awareness, would be to invite the media or local press to your fundraising event. If a story makes it into your local newspaper, that
would be great! Send us a press clipping, we would love to see it. Another idea might be to suggest that people visit our
website, which is regularly updated with photos and the latest news.
