The following photographs were taken by the LWTF trustees, on their first trip back to Thailand in 2005. They show the
children we want to help, together with examples of their impoverished living conditions.
Many of the children orphaned by the tsunami are still living in cardboard boxes and makeshift shelters on the streets. Others find refuge or temporary accommodation at day care centres, run by other
charities and support organisations who are working alongside the LWTF on the ground.
You can also see from the pictures taken at the "Patong Child Care Center" below, just how
much happier the children are who do have somewhere safe to go.
